The course covers all elements needed to work effectively as a personal trainer, including anatomy and physiology, professional practice, health and fitness principles, and how to design and deliver personal training sessions. You will be able to structure programmes specifically targeted to individual client needs.
WEFC's Towcester training facility is approximately 32 miles from Corby — a 40-minute drive south via the A43, which is a largely dual-carriageway route with minimal junctions. Sunday mornings are particularly clear, making the journey straightforward. Free parking is available on arrival at Lucas Bridge Business Park, NN12 8AX.
The course starts Sunday 13th September 2026 and ends 15th November, with a half-term break on 11th and 18th October. Taught on 8 Sundays between 3.30pm and 8.00pm at Wellbeing Fitness, Towcester (NN12 8AX).
In addition to Sunday sessions, students are expected to complete homework via our special online hub.
To join you must be over 18 years old, physically able to perform the work, and have good communication skills. There is no upper age limit. Mature students are especially welcome.
No prior qualifications are necessary.
